My Monthly Soundtrack 2.0: July

Time for July's soundtrack, with highlights from lostboycrow, Shura and The Wild Wild.

Hi! Here's a new monthly soundtrack, with 10 songs I loved in July, old or new. I should point out that I was going to write about each song but then my copy of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child came so I may have gotten excited and forgotten to write paragraphs for the others.

1. Powers - Lostboycrow

Fun fact: this song was the reason I bought new headphones, I needed to hear that bass and the general vibe of it works so well with some headphones (I bought Urbanears Plattan headphones, inexpensive but great quality).
I love the 'edginess' in this song, the beat (?) that hits at 2:19 is inventive and unique and really makes this song it's own. Definitely worth checking out, it's simply a great, unique song.

2. Hold On - Roosevelt

This song makes me nostalgic, for some reason. I love the rhythm of this track, it's 'groovy'. I can't wait to hear more from Roosevelt. His new song, Fever, is equally as brilliant and his debut album is out August 19th.

3. Mean What I Mean - AlunaGeorge, LeiKeli47, Dreezy

(This was when the Cursed Child arrived and I got excited)

4. Beggars - Mainland

5. Final Song - MØ

6. Talk Too Much - COIN

7. When We Were Young - The Wild Wild

8. Better Days - Passport to Stockholm

9. Indecision - Shura

(Shura's album is AMAZING, you really need to check it out).

10. Bury It - CHVRCHES feat. Hayley Williams

That's all for now, I'm off to read Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. Hope you enjoyed these 10 fantastic songs, bye!
