COLLECTOR CORPS - FIRST APPEARANCE AVENGERS UNBOXING (MARVEL/FUNKO)

Time to check out Funko's Collector Corps First Appearance Avengers box in all its glory.

As some may know, I'm a sucker for Funko. All my life I've been into comics, films, tv etc (working on Doctor Who is my ultimate goal which isn't outrageously ambitious, right?), I have well over 100 Pops and I'm not ashamed, it's a great way to show appreciation for your favourite characters, films, tv series and even musicians. I'm all for celebrating all things geeky and pop culture... it's quirky, isn't it? I'm not obsessed..

Which is why Funko's bimonthly Collector Corps box is something I love to receive in the post. Let's get started.

Something of Collector Corps' that I love is the interior, so much effort is put into the design and often people gloss over it. Look at that detail! OG comics for The Incredible Hulk, Captain America...

Iron Man and Spider-Man!

A Nick Fury pin! Sometimes I forget that Nick Fury isn't actually Samuel L Jackson, but a neat pin nevertheless.

A (slightly derpy in the face) Captain America patch! Always nice to see my favourite superhero represented in MCC.

This t-shirt is fantastic, although I admit would have preferred a non-Pop style (although I'm sure it's already been done). The colours on this t-shirt stand out quite nicely, and the detail in replicating the original comic cover is superb.

I won't lie to you, I was a bit meh when I found out Iron Man would be the Pop in this box. Perhaps it's due to personal taste, I like Iron Man a lot but he's not my preferred choice, it seems a bit uninspired when Funko/MCC have given us characters like Squirrel Girl, Morbius, Spider-Man (Miles Morales) and Thor (Jane Foster) in previous boxes. Regardless, it's a pretty cool Pop.

The detail really is incredible and I'm for sure certain that huge Iron Man fans will be over the moon with this, I'm actually quite pleased with it in person.

Now I was not expecting to see Vision in this box, and while I was rooting for Wasp, Scarlet Witch, Hawkeye or Thor I am super super super happy with Vision).

The paint job is a bit hit-and-miss but the colours and mold are amazing! I love it. I love it. I love it. Now all I need is an OG Scarlet Witch.

And here's a look at the info card for those interested.

Followed by October's theme - Thor Ragnarok. Holding out for some Valkyrie stuff!

That's all for now.

Rather impressed with August's MCC box if not slightly disappointed at yet more Iron Man (I really was hoping for something Wasp, Scarlet Witch or Hawkeye related). But, I'm cool with it nevertheless, the figure looks much better in person!

How do you like MCC's First Appearance Avengers box?

Additionally, what themes would you like to see in the future?
I'm all for Young Avengers or the Fantastic Four!

Thanks for reading!

Bye!
