MARVEL COLLECTOR CORPS - SPIDER-MAN UNBOXING - FUNKO

I received Funko's Marvel Collector Corps: Spider-Man (August) box, and I'm pretty excited to check out what's inside!

Well, as some may know I'm a pretty big Spidey fan, so when I found out August's theme would be Spider-Man I was thrilled. Let's open up!

Disclaimer - I didn't get one of those sheets that explains everything in the box so I have no idea about variants, designers etc.

First of all, can we appreciate the interior artwork...

Such a cool design, Collector Corps always does a brilliant job on the interior.

Anyway, as is tradition with any Funko subscription box, there's a patch and pin. I love the patch, it's completely what I expected but it's still pretty cool. I've been toying with the idea of putting all my Collector Corps (and occasional Loot Crate) patches onto a bomber jacket but I'm not too sure about that. I really like the pin too, again what I expected but it's an iconic design so, again, I appreciate it.

(Excuse the dodgy black paint on the wall, it happened a few years back and I haven't been able to get it off since)

I like the design, although it is a tad on the simple side. I love the Funko covers they do for comics though, it's a neat variation.

Is this not the most controversial item? I had this spoiled for me a few days ago and I was unsure how I felt, especially with so many people complaining about Funko including hats in the subscription boxes, but... I actually really like it. I'm not a hat wearer, especially a snapback wearer, but I really like this one and it's quite comfortable to wear. I'm off to university in September so I'll definitely be bringing this to wear whenever I have a bad hair day (which is most days, to be honest).

Well, this was unexpected... but again, I quite like it. This is my 'first' Fabrikation, so it's fitting that it's Spider-Man. Finally, number '32' is here.

Oh, yes yes yes yes yes! Action-pose ftw. Again, I was expecting an action-pose Pop but this really is a great Pop. I'm glad it's not a re-paint too. Am I right in presuming this is the Spider-Man from Civil War? Not too sure, it seems like it is. Let me know! But I really do like this figure.

... and that's it! I was expecting a Dorbz and not a Fabrikation but I'm pleasantly surprised. I really did like this box, and am now a bit confused as to why there were so many complaints. I guess it's all subjective and people have different tastes, but for me, this really is a decent box from Collector Corps. Not as great as Women of Power, Deadpool or Civil War but it's definitely up there!
